Utilities Menu

This menu facilitates access to the following utility tools:

• View Grid is for viewing grid parameters along with a pseudo-colour image of the grid;
• Grid Statistics saves grid statistics for all grids in the input directory to a report file;
• Check Grid Parameters writes various grid parameters to a file to assist grid checking;
• Generate Priority Order creates a default grid Priority Order File for the grids in the input directory;
• Create Boundary View creates a Boundary View for each of the grids in the input directory;
• CreateJpegs From Grids creates a jpeg image (gradient-enhanced pseudo-colour image) for each grid in the directory;
• Sub-Section a Grid facilitates the sub-sectioning of grids using polygons or rectangles;
• Shift/Scale a Grid is used to shift and scale a single grid;

All output and messages from the Utilities tools are directed to the Log File and  Main Window respectively. Note that the parameters for the tools accessed through the Utilities menu are set at runtime through their own user interfaces. They are not read from the Control File.
