View Colored Spectra
The View Colored Spectra tool gives an alternative view of the raw or NASVD'd spectra. There is a faint horizontal line through the middle of the coloured display marking the position of the currently selected spectrum. By default, the colour mapping is a linear ramp from zero up to the value specified in the Red Value textBox. You can change to a log colour mapping by checking the Log Plot checkBox. Num Spec sets the number of spectra in the window at any one time.
Tool Tip: GammaSpec buffers the spectra in memory to give a smooth scroll. If you change the Num Pc value for NASVD'd spectra, you may have to move forward, or backward, in the file before the new value takes effect.
See Tutorial 2 – Viewing Data for a tutorial on the use of this tool.
