Create Group-By Field

This tool creates a new "group-by" database field based on the date and time:

• Date Field:  the database date field (flight can be used as a proxy). The date field is an integer field that increases with later dates;
• Time Field:  time of day (fiducial field can be used as a proxy). The time field is an integer field that increases with later times;
• Group Field:  the new group-by field to be created;
• Min Samples Per Group:  the minimum number of samples per group – this is typically 1,000-2,000 for energy calibration, or 20,000- 50,000 for NASVD. 
• Min Samples Last Group:  specify a minimum number of samples allowed for the last group – typically, about 70% of the Minimum Samples Per Group.
