Tutorial 12: Lineament Enhancement

Grid Setup

The Lineament Enhancement tool operates on an ERMapper grid.

Processing Steps

    1. Set the Working Directory – File|Set Working Directory. Navigate to the "demo_data\airborne_spectrometry\lineament_enhancement" folder. Then click Open to set this as the Working Directory.  
    2. Launch the tool – Enhancements|Lineament Enhancement.
    3. Set the tools aliases and parameters – File|Set Aliases and Parameters. Click the Load From File button - the Select File dialog will open in the Working Directory where the control file and demonstration grid are located. Select the "lineament_enhancement.pc" control file from the working directory. For an explanation of the aliases and parameters click the Help button. Click Save And Return. The input grid should display in the left-hand panel window. 
    4. Initiate the lineament enhancement. Select Run from the Run menu. On completion, the lineament grid will display in the right-hand panel window.
    5. View the log file – File|View User Log File to see the results.
