Database Restrictions

There are restrictions on the use of GammaSpec with Intrepid and Oasis Montaj databases. These include:

• There can be no duplicate line numbers in the databases. Each line number can refer to only one line.
• Only the following data types are supported – short, int, float and double.
• There are restrictions on the location and naming of the line number, flight number and fiducial number fields. 
• No license is required to run GammaSpec on Intrepid or Oasis Montaj databases. However, if you don't have an Oasis Montaj license, there are restrictions on the lengths of lines in the database, and on the creation of multi-band fields.
