Database Restrictions

There are restrictions on the use of GammaSpec with Intrepid and Oasis Montaj databases. These include:

• Only the following data types are supported – short, int, float, double and character.
• Some tools require the presence of a line number field in the database, that must not include duplicate line numbers. The Intrepid Editor has the facility to scan line number fields and rename duplicates.
• No license is required to run GammaSpec on Intrepid or Oasis Montaj databases. However, if you don't have an Oasis Montaj license, there are restrictions on the lengths of lines in the database (2,000 samples), and on the creation of multi-band fields.
